Corset: Bizarre Design

Laced in tight for my catwoman shoot the other day :D
Got down to about 19”
I custom sized this underbust specifically for the shoot. Unfortunately the top layer of pvc wasn’t quite strong enough to support the strain so the flat steel bones in the front broke through the fabric :( I’m going to have to re-make the piece with a second layer of Coutile just for support.
In any case. I am so proud of this outfit and how it turned out!
Corset, trackies and Harley Davidson tee…..favourite outfit to slum it round the house in :D nearly fully seasoned now, and so incredibly comfy. Sorry for the crappy phone pics and my face….not sure what it’s doing haha :)
Yes it’s the same damn corset again I only have two good corsets with me and I’d like to have a waist-training one rather than slowly break this one D: but what can you do??
There’s a lot of rumpling because this isn’t custom made, I think. I think this is laced down to 22 inches or so on the waist. Need something curvier, with more rib room, I think. I think I’m getting to the stage where a bigger hipspring will let the waist hook under my ribs and prove overall comfier.
Also batwing sleeves ftw.
While many people can get away with standard-sized corsets, it’s not a realistic case of “one-size-fits-all”. What if you 100% know that no OTR will fit you correctly, but you’re still looking for an inexpensive gateway corset that will fit you properly? In my 4th article for Guided Galleries, I mention a few makers that offer custom-fit corsets for $200 or less. Also see my other article, “cinchers under $200” to see some other brands not mentioned here.
Great resource (and I’m not just saying that because I was mentioned, hee hee tralalalala)
